Demi Lovato took to Instagram on Monday to show off a longer hairstyle, after she’d been rocking more edgy short hair for the past couple of months.
The singer – who recently explained she is now using she/her pronouns in addition to they/them more than a year after coming out as non-binary – showed off the softer look and her picture-perfect makeup on her Instagram Stories.
The change comes amid news that she, 29, is in a ‘happy and healthy relationship’ with a fellow musician, according to a source who spoke with People.

‘It’s a really happy and healthy relationship. He’s a super great guy,’ the insider revealed.
The songstress wore a frilly black top in the clip she shared to her Instagram, and accessorized it with a rosary around her neck.
She wore picture-perfect glam, consisting of smokey black eyeshadow, perfectly outlined brows, and light matte pink lipstick on her pout.

The romance news comes after Lovato seemingly shaded her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama in her scathing new breakup song, 29, off her upcoming eighth studio album Holy Fvck, set to be released on August 19.
The angsty track, widely believed to be about the actor, 42, based off the revealing lyrics, are penned from her perspective at the age he was when they first met when she was still a teenager.
‘Finally 29 / Funny, just like you were you at the time,’ the singer croons. ‘Thought it was a teenage dream / Just a fantasy / But was it yours or was it mine?’

In another verse, the performer, who decided to become completely sober in late 2021, notes that she was ‘too young to drink wine’ when they first started dating.
‘Just five years of bleeders, student and a teacher / Far from innocent / what the f**k’s consent? / Numbers told you not to / but that didn’t stop you,’ the Grammy nominee sang.
Lovato has not explicitly confirmed that the tune is about Valderrama, who she dated from 2010 to 2016.

Demi – born Demetria Devonne Lovato – and Max began dating in March 2020 before getting engaged in Malibu four months later.
The couple eventually split up in September 2020, after a quick two-month engagement.
Though the breakup appeared amicable at first, a source later revealed to PEOPLE that Demi was hurt and ‘shocked’ when they realized that Max’s feelings were not ‘genuine’.
