American rapper Fetty Wap’s four-year-old daughter Lauren Maxwell has died, according to Turquoise Miami, the girl’s mother.
Miami, who is a dancer and musician, confirmed the tragic news in an Instagram post.
“This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius,” she wrote. “If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love #rip,” she added.
The post was accompanied by a video of Lauren playing in a swimming pool. The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.
Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, had dedicated his performance at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami last weekend to Lauren.
“LoLo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl,” he wrote on his Instagram story at the time.
Except for Lauren, the “Trap Queen” singer is a father to five children – Aydin, 10, Zaviera, six, Khari, five, Amani, five, and Zy, who was born in 2018.
The Independent has reached out to Fetty Wap for comment.
